DESIGN FEATURES
The
monoblock main frame and top beam are box construction and highly resistant to
twisting forces.
Fast
and precise blade gap adjustment for high quality cutting can be made from a
single point.
The top beam is
pivoted precisely and connected with special bearings. The back gauge system is
fixed to the top beam so work piece jamming is avoided.
Holddown cylinders adjust their pressure according to sheet thickness. They can work separately so they can adapt for different thickness. Pressure surfaces of the holddowns are Polyamide so they don’t rust and deformations while using Aluminum or painted sheets are avoided. For safety reasons, the front side of the holddown is closed with a protection cover and upon customers’ request, part on the left side of this cover could be opened.
Backgauge movement is provided by guide shafts and ballscrew shafts
with ±0.004” tolerance. Backgauge
traveling distance is 39.4”. If a sheet
bigger than 39.4” is to be cut, then the automatic swing-up function of the
backgauge is utilized, thus cutting of sheets longer than 39.4” is
possible. The back gauge has the
retraction function to be used during the cutting process. With this function,
deformation and jamming of striped sheets are avoided.
